Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, content, and online services operated by O-Cyrus Technology Solutions / O-Cyrus LLC ("O-Cyrus," "we," "our," or "us"), including o-cyrus.com and related admin or publishing tools we operate. By using our site or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or services.

Who we are

O-Cyrus provides websites, apps, custom development, automation, cloud, security, and related technology services for businesses. Contact details and consultation requests are available on our contact page.

Website and content

The site—including blog guides, Adventures of O & Cyrus episodes, From the Desk of notes, and marketing pages—is for general information. Content may change without notice. We do not warrant that published material is complete, current, or suitable for every situation. Professional services and project work are governed by a separate statement of work, proposal, or contract when we enter one with you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that violates applicable law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or other users' data
  • Scrape, overload, or disrupt the site or related APIs beyond ordinary browsing and permitted integrations
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us or using our forms
  • Copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit our comics, branding, or other proprietary content without permission, except as allowed by fair use or a written license from us

Accounts and admin tools

Some O-Cyrus systems (for example, content review and social publishing) are limited to authorized staff or contractors. If you receive credentials, you are responsible for keeping them confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Social and third-party platforms

We may publish approved content to third-party platforms such as LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok using APIs or tools we configure. Those platforms have their own terms and privacy policies. Authorizing an O-Cyrus publishing app on a third-party platform grants only the permissions needed to post content we already own or have rights to publish. We do not sell access to your third-party accounts.

SMS program

Optional SMS public announcements and alerts are covered by our separate SMS Terms & Conditions. Those rules apply in addition to these Terms when you opt into the SMS program.

Privacy

How we collect and use personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the site, you also acknowledge that policy.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, the site design, text, graphics, logos, comics, and other materials are owned by O-Cyrus or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to public pages for personal or internal business use. You may not remove proprietary notices or use our marks in a way that suggests endorsement without our written consent.

Third-party links and tools

The site may link to third-party websites, badges, or services. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Disclaimers

THE SITE AND PUBLIC CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, O-CYRUS AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON PUBLIC CONTENT. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SITE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify O-Cyrus against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights—except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes to paid services will be communicated as required by any applicable contract.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local law applies. Courts located in Michigan have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the site, unless a separate written agreement with you says otherwise.
